Commissioning Editor - Hodder Gibson
I studied at Glasgow College of Building and Printing as a mature student where I received the prize for illustration. After which I worked as a freelance illustration tutor for Renfrewshire Council’s Out of School Learning Group, I also carry out workshops and talks for other groups/schools and and am a member of LIVE LITERATURE SCOTLAND through the Scottish Book Trust.
I am a member of Scottish Illustrators and the BRAW network at www.scottishbooktrust.com
I illustrated Septimus Pitt and the Grumbleoids a collection of poetry for children by Brian Whittingham. It was launched at the Aye Write! literary festivaland was chosen as 'Books from Scotland' book of the month.
Recent projects have included: 'Things Kids Say' for United Press Barnardos/Linda Bellingham and Magic Misture - a childrens anthology from Erskine Writers.
I enjoy walking my dog Meg while pondering on the possibilities of constructing a time machine....the perfect time management solution!
I live with my hubby Scott and children, Kirsty and Graham.
